SUNDAY MORNING MOMENT

It's family time and we take it serious. Zion and I celebrate Sunday Mornings with bonding time on the mat. It's not just the Yoga that I share with him. It's him too sharing his kinda Yoga things - today there are his car and tennis ball and guess what's all around us!

Planting the seed of Yoga can't be early enough in life - appreciation, gratitude, connection and love.

NEVER BE YOU. PRACTICE YOU.

As a Yoga Teacher my personal practice and self-study have high priority. Together, they build the foundation for teaching. I believe, only what I have experienced, I am able to share within the tradition and to apply accordingly.

Unlikely as it is often assumed, a Yoga Teacher actually lives as a human; someone also filled with darkness so the inner light may shine, someone also dealing with struggles and growing through them.

I am saying this, because November this year wasn’t really an easy month for me personally. Obstacle followed by obstacle.

Funnily enough, words I wrote exactly one year ago, came across, while thumbing through my diary to look for inspiration, to look for answers. These are the words and they helped me through:

Never BE YOU! PRACTICE YOU!
Observe.Live.Review.Change.
We have the generous possibility of making choices - over and over again.
In any given moment.
For that, there are no mistakes.
No completion.
Just Learning. Letting Go.
This is Inner Freedom.
Fear channels into Courage.
Courage leads to Action.
Action is Joy.
JOY OF LIFE
