Between this picture and today have passed about 20 years.
It was me at the beginning of my time in Berlin, an extraordinary, vibrant city after the wall came down in 1989. There I wanted to be at the pulse of the time and of history to explore varieties of lifestyles, artistry, music, nightlife, and revolution, differences as well as connectivity.
I was searching. I was questioning. I always did and am still.
When looking through these young eyes today, I know to be true, searching is finding, and the treasures are to discover internally. Not all questions need to be answered, but the answers always lie inside of me.
20 years have been quite a journey, and I also know to be true, that Ashtanga Yoga’s helped me significantly along the path. Because it’s “a beautiful practice where you meet yourself.”
Leaving into my Summer vacation today, I’d love to share with you this feedback from Karolina Sawczak on our one-to-one work:
Besides practicing Ashtanga Yoga, what else could you do using your break to get a lil’ closer to yourself?
Here’s a writing exercise, that I’d like to suggest to explore at least three times a week in a quiet moment. Take a pen, turn a black page in your notebook and complete these two sentences with three bullets:
I appreciate about myself:
I commit to accept/let go/rise from within myself:
It helps you to find out about yourself, strengthen your self-worth, to love and sprinkle it with some humor too :).
Now please share in the comments below, what you’ve discovered and am looking forward to hearing from you! If you feel inspired, please share with a dear family member, friend, colleague or encounter! Treasures are hidden everywhere if you take a closer and attentive look.
With my regular schedule, I’ll be back from September 2018 on.
In the meantime, I’ll catch up with your from my travels.
So much looking forward to this Summer break.
I have you in my heart and so much thank you for your trust.
With love & a refreshing summer drink on my desk,
