When September’s whirlwind hasn’t stopped yet (see blog post here), it's okay with me.
Ive found “writing” about whats in my head and heart has been an incredible tool for taking a pause while my ups and downs in daily life keep going their rounds.
It structures thoughts and ideas. It takes fear and anxiety. It captures memories and holds space for desires.
It takes the pace, as its reflecting and digesting, clearing and surrendering and sometimes its a great moment of love and laughter.
Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Mark Robberds once said, in one of his workshop I participated in 2012, that when you write about who you want to become, it’ll come true.
So maybe with our dreams as well?
Here is a lovingly created “DREAM PLANNER” by my dear friend Rita Sambado.
I gave it to my beautiful sis Carolin to her birthday in September - in the midst of the whirlwind ;) - and wrote this (English below):
Sicherheit im Leben ist ein inneres Gut.
Basierend auf ein tiefes Urvertrauen.
Keine äussere Struktur.
Glaube an Deine Träume.
Security in life is an inner value.
Based on deep faith.
No structure outside.
Believe in your dreams!
Not all of them need to come true.
But all of them are worth to follow.
Along this way we’ll learn to let go.
Especially, when we don’t know yet, what is to come.
That’s the secret and the challenge likewise.
It may work out. It may not.
But you did it.
That’s how inner security and faith in yourself grows
And I feel, this is one of the greatest gifts Ashtanga Yoga can give.
We need to practice it in order understand, what's all about.
Im truly excited about the new project, which I just launched: a SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP PROGRAM with Ashtanga Yoga.
On request of inspired students I was looking for a set-up to bring some tools of Private Teaching into a small group.
It’s here now and that’s what you’re going to experience.
